Why can't we think like BABIES?

Posted by Pratiba Bhat at Friday, August 07, 2009

Kids, children and babies... who doesn't love these guys? They make our days.... For me they are my lucky charms. The moment I see an infant I feel that my day is going to be really splendid... and it does…!!
But why are they loved so much? You may say they are innocent. True!!! They are. But what else? I'll tell you..... They don't know jealousy. They don't know to pull other's legs. They don't know how to be cunning. They don't know how to harm others. They are the happiest human beings. They are ever smiling. They are always busy doing some activity. They will go by their conscience.

They DO WHAT THEIR HEART TELLS THEM TO DO. If discouraged from doing so, they start their sirens and alarms by crying, which means they want to still go by what their heart says even if somebody discourages them.

What do we do if we want to try something new and somebody else pulls our legs, discourages us? We back off. We give up then and there. (There are some really strong people who would go by their heart. But let us keep them as exceptions for now.) Agree with me? It is very easy to influence others and still easier to get influenced by others. Leg pulling is common everywhere these days. In high schools, colleges, workplaces etc. We all are bound to be slaves of the negative side of our mind. So it always is a problem to arrive at a proper decision as to whether to do it or not. Mark my words, If the decision is yours and it is helpful to you and if it is morally and legally right then go for it. Don’t think anything more than that.

Oh common isn't it your life after all? Any decision made in your life should be made straight from the heart. (Provided you don't end up doing things that harm others.)

But you may ask me what if your near and dear ones don’t support your decision? I would say, start showing them that you are mature enough to think on your own. Prove them that you are capable of handling responsibilities. Let them see the sparks that come out from you. Take up some initiatives that require a lot of responsibilities. I'm speaking from the point of view of people who still depend on others for making decisions.
Friends you all are grown ups. Come out of your childhood habits. Start thinking independently.

This may contradict the heading above that "Why don't we start thinking like babies?" Here comes the point. Our attitude matters what come may. Building attitudes like children will help us a lot. We will be loved by all if this happens. We will win people's trust also. So friends I would say, keenly observe the habits of the kids around you. We have lots to learn from them......
